A: If 'Filtered' button is greened out, it
will enable hardware based (by the capture
chipset) fine filtering (smoothing). Usually we suggest to keep
this setting enabled,
because it reduces size of recording frame while keeping details
legible enough. If
recording of slight differences in small details is required (especially
when high optical.zoom is used), one may disable this feature
to improve quality (sharpness) of details as
much as possible.
